“The inspector and the automaton”

  The concept is about a girl who is wearing a mask and walking in the garden.

I found a piece of a puzzle, which became an inspiration for the project. Adapting it to cloth, puzzle transformed into patchwork, as well as combining different fabrics and types of closing.

“The MerTailor”

“Mertailor” is my idea of Dandy style and Mermaids. I have referenced the flamboyant mens style as Sophie Hulme aesthetic is characterized by masculine silhouettes but feminine interpretation.

Into the attic I explore, where dust is layered upon the floor. Tins filled with trinkets and toys galore… ‘Pastimes’-an Autumn/Winter 2013 outerwear collection exploring board games, bomber jackets and attic treasures.

O Little Town of Fishermen’s Siren. Strolling down an old pier of the English seaside. The wind blowing in her hair. Wearing her favourite anorak as she watches the men sail back from that morning’s haul.   

My project is inspired by the young working business man with references to workwear tailoring and elements of formal dress.
